Suzy Albert is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 5+ years of experience focused in the areas of addiction, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. Suzy’s practice experience includes work with adults, adolescents, and justice system-involved patients, in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. She earned both her graduate and undergraduate degrees in Social Work from Boise State University. Suzy enjoys sharing her professional knowledge with the next generation of social workers through participating as a Field Instructor, which includes providing practicum opportunities and supervision to MSW/BSW students.
Suzy utilizes a variety of skills and techniques drawn from evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Psychoeducation. Personally, Suzy is married and a dog-mom of one, a sweet English Labrador named Roxie. Suzy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (especially anywhere with the ocean), watching football (BSU Broncos/Philadelphia Eagles), and catching up on true-crime documentaries and podcasts.
